Golf in Tacuru
This golf course is located
at approximately eight kilometers from Posadas, the province capital
city, and it is next to the campus of the National University of
Misiones. The club entrance is on National Route #12 which is the one
that leads to the widely well-known Iguazú Falls. It is a very natural
course where there are, all along its links, plenty of pines,
eucalyptus and palm trees. In general, the course design shows lots of
waves which render it particularly attractive, especially to amateurs
playing on it for the first time. Because of its wide fairways and flat
greens, this rough is a call for attention. Everybody agrees that at
the Tacuru Social Club each circuit hole could be regarded as a
postcard created by an artist. So, it is just a matter of visiting
these lands of reddish earth and trying out the goodness of this
course, where Daniel Vancsik became a professional player and who, some
years ago, stood out as a promising young talent of national golf and
nowadays competes at the Challenge Tour, the second most important tour
in Europe
